Supporting growing SMEs

AFD Group partners with a wide range of local public and private financial intermediaries (commercial banks, microfinance institutions and non-bank institutions, such as leasing, factoring and insurance companies) to expand the range of products and services tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.

PROPARCO and the FISEA facility also finance SMEs with equity and quasi-equity, either via direct investments in companies or via private equity funds. By investing in these companies, we support SMEs with strong development impacts and provide the capital required for the long-term growth of companies.
